VIDEO: How To Set Marketing Goals That Lead To Reaching Business Goals

It’s the new year so everyone is talking about goal setting. There are plenty of other places for you to read about “write down your goals and they’re more likely to become a reality” type of advice. I know, because I read them too. I’ve even got this handy little motivational sticker on my daily notebook that kicks my motivation into gear each morning when I open it. That is not what this is about.

This video is about how to set specific marketing goals. Yes business goals are great. In fact, they are necessary. If you don’t know or can’t articulate where you want your business to go in the next 362 days, then you clearly won’t be able to get there.

But how do you get there?

You guess it: marketing. It’s not just about the strategy, but about how your marketing strategy connects to your sales strategy to reach your revenue goals.

And let’s not forget, revenue goals allow you to build a business to achieve the LIFE goals you’ve also set out for yourself. It’s not all about the money, but money makes life easier. It gives turns a need into an option. It gives you freedom to buy what you want, help who you want, and spend time as you want.

So how do you set these marketing-specific goals that will lead to the work-life balance you’re striving for this year? Let me explain:
